Removal of contamination from cotton is technically very challenging. The ever growing demand of customers was instrumental in development of SIEGER "Sonoptic" with following features.

The direct system eliminated unnecessary bends in material flow thereby minimizing fibre neps.

Combination of Optics and Ultrasonic results in efficient identification of colored, white as well as hidden contamination with high efficiency.

Optics

Extensive MIS using all statistical information enables precise fine-tuning and control of material. Onscreen dianostics helps easy operation.

Ultrasonic

SIEGER "Sonoptic" uses Ultrasonic imaging to identify the contaminants based on density. The high accuracy and speed of the sensors enable identification of white Polymers and hidden contaminants of different densities. Signal from sensors are efficiently processed by unique embedded sonic signal processors.

Sonic Sensors

Sieger

Twin array ultrasonic sensors on both sides of material flow scans material seamlessly. High frequency pluses s used to detect contamination accurately.

Embedded Processing

The sonic signals are converted to digital images by embedded proprietary processor, discrimination signals between cotton and contamination

System Integration

Online image pattern of cotton and contamination is continuously memorized. This memory will be readjusted according to variation in the process from time to time.

Advanced Optics

Reliable industrial grade cameras from world's leading manufactures. Speeds up to 12,000 frames with high resolution. Cameras are digital CCD line scan configuration.

Camera Link Protocol

Cameras connected to image processing hardware with latest industrial camera link protocol. Transfer speeds are extremely FAST and external influence ins completely eliminated.

Neural Network

Image processing is carried out with proprietary algorithms and the decision is using neural networks. Discrimination of contamination is similar to the signal processed by human brain.

Direct system

Sieger

Material from fine opener transfers through the CSS-Sonoptic straight away without multiple bends. Ejected cotton is forced down horizontally thereby taking advantage of gravity.
