Contamination Control System
Foreign fibres present in cotton is a surmounting problem for yarn manufacturers. Removal of foreign fibre is a daunting task. Optical available systems, now removes coloured contaminants present on the surface of cotton processed in a blow room line. However the uncoloured synthetic materials and hidden matter is to be removed to improve the yarn quality and acceptance.
Sieger has developed an independent ULTROSONIC Module, SPS - Sonic Pre Sorter to be used as a stand alone system. The SPS system can be installed after the fine opener or after an existing optical system for foreign fibre elimination. The SPS uses Ultrasonic scanning to identify the contaminants based on density. The high accuracy and speed of the sensors enable identification of white polymers and hidden contaminants of different densities. Signals from sensors are efficiently processed by unique embedded sonic signal processors. The processed signal is fed to PLC which performs the ejection mechanism to shoot out the contaminants.
