Material handling equipment in spinning Mills is of least significance and often neglected. Existing methods of handling cones with baskets/boxes and trolleys results in:
- Physical damages to the upper layer of the cones, collapsed paper cones.
- Stains and finger marks.
- Contamination with external material like jute / plastic.

The concept of Modular trolleys is the flexibility to suit various cone dimensions and weights. Normally the weight of cones is market driven ranging from 1 kg to 3.5 kgs. The problem associated with standard peg trolleys of fixed center distances is completely solved with Modular trolleys. The vertical and horizontal positions are flexible to suit various cone configurations.
