Yarn Conditioning Plant-YCP Hybrid
Conditioning plays a major role in determining both knitting and weaving performance of the yarn. Consider the advantages: In knitting, conditioning helps in maintaining the proper unwinding tension, reduce end breaks through improvement in elongation and through considerable reduction of fluff liberation. What’s more, conditioning of the yarn gives the knit fabric a soft, bulky feel.
In weaving, size pickup improved after conditioning implies high weaving efficiency and controlled tension in positive weft feeders assures a minimum of 1-2% increase in weft insertion efficiency.

Sieger Yarn conditioning plant is the result of new generation technology backed by constant innovation. Conditioning is carried out by Cold Saturated Steam generated inside the plant. Steam is generated in accordance to the vapour pressure curve of stream, to maintain homogeneity. In hybrid technology the thermal energy required for the conditioning process is profiled and delivered based on optimal requirements resulting in drastic reduction of connected electric load and power consumption.

Additional weight realization in yarn implies very short pay-back or investment on Sieger Yarn Conditioning plant. The pay-back period is typically below 6 months without considering the quality benefits after conditioning.
Process fine tuning is done at site depending on the yarn to obtain maximum results. Constant research has enabled Sieger to perfect the art of conditioning.
Homogeneous penetration of moisture is ensured by several stages of evacuation and impregnation with saturated steam. Precision sensors with perfect reproduction system ensure consistent performance within and between batches for years of operation.
